Franchise Player Not Dropping Off

For some reason, my franchise player stays on my team long past the 5 games I purchased. Normally, I'd be cool with that, but I want to use someone with bonus points in today's event and drop the Franchise player. Does this only happen to me?

    Same here, I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling.
    I've bought other franchise players.
    I even had Didi in my lineup normally, and Didi as a franchise. Had both of them batting. I'd like to find out how to get this fixed.

    Just put a customer service ticket in. They fixed it for me

    I have a love hate with this problem, as it is kind of annoying for obvious reasons I do love getting an unlimited Jose Ramirez since I can’t seem to get a decent third baseman
