Help me understand how this is possible.

The VIP event was won yesterday by a guy who scored 9,931,126,000 points.

At 20x on HOF for the 100k per RBI for Seager (2 million per RBI), that's 4,966 RBI.

Or, 414 RBI per hour.

Which is nearly 7 RBI per minute.

And he had to cycle it once to get him, right? How was this accomplished and what am I missing here?

Gold is 1.4x, plat is 1.6x, and diamond is 2x points. Some people are more than okay with spending gold and/or using 'other' means to rack up points.

Forgot about Diamond being 2x. That guy is definitely Diamond. So about 3 1/2 RBI per minute then. Wow, that's still pretty crazy. Even if you pay gold to reuse Seager for every match, rounds 5 and 6 you couldn't autoplay much anyway which makes things pretty slow.

@JEDDDOGGY I was looking at that progress yesterday as well and judging by the profile it isn't the 1st time that player has pulled something like this off so more power to him/her. I just don't understand why they picked those skills for the custom legends though. Also keep in mind that they may have completed the WOH Pick'em multiplier as well.

@Houmy CvC! I think I would've done the same...you know, in a world where I have such options. Lol

Well, we still don't really know if skills deactivate mid round in WOH. If this guy knows something we don't...

I guess we have found the best player for CVC EVER then? So we won't be having THAT discussion this year right? RIGHT? 🤔

That guy has 3 of those special VIP’s. I seem to remember another pic in his profile with an older fella with a big ol cowboy hat as well...

You sure you weren't looking at the person who finished 2nd? Now THOSE are skills I could get behind (we don't need no stinky CVC skills 😁). I actually like the 2nd place team better as he is clearly pacing himself judging by the team strengths/tiers between the two.

Well doesn't he just have the look of a fella with a rather large discretionary entertainment budget.

Frankly, we don't know what perks or advantages are given to the whales just like most people don't really know what happens in the whale rooms at a casino. We can assume they get things that go even beyond what VIPs get.

Last year, we all saw some of the whales blatantly get away with what appeared to be obvious hacking without consequence while others were jailed for much, much, much less.

Btw...both those dudes need some work on their sluggers. They will never accomplish much without good sluggers!!! 😂

I'm just curious why most of the elite players don't interact in the forums. The new age of doing things is to have a YouTube channel or followers but yet the only top players I really see are Juanny in the global or Houmy in the forums...

The really elite players don't really care about the gameplay at all. They have their own little clubs to which they belong. They're not really interested in mixing it up with the commoners unless it's to demonstrate how vastly superior they are. So, they might drop in to humble brag about scoring a billion points in a weekend event or putting up 25M in one CvC round. But, that's really only to reinforce that the commoners can't match their superiority.

Part of it and I think I may offend people, but TSB isn't a game of skill. It's super, super fun. However, time and/or money is the biggest factor in determining success. Of course, resource allocation and understanding situational hitting/batting order/etc. help. However, the threshold of getting 'it' for tsb is fairly easy to reach.

Them dudes are lucky that the challenge mode isn't enabled for derby or else....they'd be 5k short on the regular!

The money they are probably spending on this game I don't think they are concerned with the derby at all since they probably just pay for what resources they need.

I don’t even qualify as a beached whale... more like a sardine, but Grade A sardine just the same 😏

How do you get a top ranked vip player on your team? They even have custom icons. I wonder if their stats are better than our custom legend

@JEDDDOGGY real simple how he got there. He beat all star then cycled HOF. With the combination of him being on diamond level, him using hosmer at every at bat by slow playing each level you’re able to accumulate the amount of points that he did. Once he was able to complete HOF, you do the same method with Seager. He had. 12 hours to do it. It’s tedious, but possible

I was playing HOF with Seager at gold level, and I have the pickem patch.  My highest round was about 29m. So definitely doable if your grind him out. The x20 was  dishing out some crazy points.

Over 3 1/2 RBI per minute is what it takes. Math. I had some big rounds in HOF with Seager too, but to sustain that pace for 12 hours straight... well... the guy didn’t put his phone down for much other than a sip of water here and there.

As you you can read in the thread above here, it was discussed. And, while it’s possible, it’s completely crazy. Lol.

Autoplaying does that in less then 1min @JEDDDOGGY I could auto-play 15-20m rapid fast and that's at my level. I know covex, and he likes to win and one of the nicest guys I've talked too.

Yes, definitely. I’m sure he autoplayed. Like, a lot. Haha.
