Prime games

So, maybe I never paid attention before but I don't remember prime wins going towards your game record. Last night I noticed my record go up after a win, so I played a few more to conform and it went up again. Am I just oblivious or is this new? Like I said I didn't pay attention before, it just caught my eye after a win last night.
