I’m getting close and just reached level 9. I was told to keep spending it may come sooner that I think.

My inbox is loaded with people thinking I can get them VIP bc of this post. For the record, I can put in a recommendation for $500
I may or may not have been recommending you to people on global.

I really am lost on the secret for it. I sent in a question regarding it, and they said I'm a very hardcore user and that it's designed for "people like me" but it's an automatic thing. I'm lost on it and hope to crack it soon. The never ending red mark is driving me nuts.

Honestly your activity on the forums probably has a lot to do with it too.  You may get VIP almost instantly when you get to level 10.

Edit: activity meaning over 500 posts, and actually being a good contributed, instead of the "where is my VIP" that a lot of people do.
I hope 500 posts ain’t required, logged in everyday for over a year and played over 10k games already this year, reached lvl10 all star, follow on Twitter... making it mandatory to post on form everyday seems a bit unfair

VIP isn’t per Glu just about spending.  It’s contributing the community as well. And that helping on forums and such too.....
First, congrats on not being the 1st person to ask this question.

Oh and how long did it take you to spend to get to level 10 allstar?  It has to be done within a certain time frame as well.   You only have a 18 day period to spend a total of what equals to be level 10 allstar.  If not you have to start the spending time frame again.
First, congrats on not being the 1st person to ask this question.

Well 500 seems steep is all I’m saying , I post more in global and club so just hope it’s not a set number like that. Not to mention Twitter activity.

@RiSam98 there's no definitive answer. Not from CS, not from here, not from anywhere. There are players that have earned VIP status from nothing more than spending money, there are players that have earned VIP status while spending less than $10 total. The forum can play a role (not simply joining and asking about VIP, but actually being a member of the community), Facebook and Twitter can play a role, spending can play a role, in game activity can play a role. Generally, it's a good mixture of all of those things that may eventually trigger whatever needs to be triggered to earn VIP status.

Kinda sorry I started this thread.  Next one I’m starting is going to be about the red arrow of death!

Access to special events you probably won't be competitive in.  Leaderboards you will probably never see your name on.
Those dudes score absurd amounts of points! The top 10, and really the top 50, in the VIP events outscore most clubs smh. Did you see the last event? How do you score 42.5 billion points by yourself? 🤯
    U work for Glu
