At equal skill levels, which do you think would do better against Gray at 4.10? 420 max PotM Alvarez with 2x RISP skill or 350 max 2x WOH skill McMahon?
Where are you guys gold boosting at in HOF? Seems like starting with 317 rated Scherzer at 5.9 requires gold boost unless you want to start over a few times (which I don't).
Even if I were to get Sax, I already have Joe Morgan at 2B, 420 Villar, DJ 390. 2B has just been stacked for me this year. Seems like Glus favorite position. Also how are people getting so much legend XP that they have 3 legends capped at gold? I have 160k in gold but afraid to spend it on those pitiful legend xp boxes.
@bayoubengal Lol at least you already cycled 5-6 times. I was having a blast losing to Dylan Floro and Sonny Gray. Everyone knows that Floro gets mentioned when talking about the greatest pitchers of all time. He's always number two right behind Nolan Ryan. Couldn't even auto play him with prime 420 Volgelbach at g10.
Okay, I did an 80 boost on 5.10 and also 6.8 just because of the run deficits on those matches and figured I'd be safer that way. I got through with 2500 gold mostly due to my impatience / refusing to start a round over.
I had issues autoplying in spots on Classic that I have autoplayed thru for weeks. Beating the pitchers manually was no problem. Just kind of annoying.
made it through hof first try with only a video boost at 6.9 and a 80g boost against verlander with last week's hof prize (pablo) escobar. was way easier than i thought it was going to be
Finally went ahead and played round 6 of HOF. After slow playing Maldonado thru a few rounds for points I actually went for it. At first - had a lot of difficulty with getting very far using autoplay. So - after 6.3 decided to actually "play" each round. Was much easier. Video boosted for the first time a 6.7 Lost initially at 6.8 with my legend and decided to use my video mulligan. Easily won the next two rounds and got Sax. Truth in advertising - did use an 80gold boost vs. Verlander at 6.10. Won that one going away 12-9 with a walk off grand-slam.
