I was just like Alex. Waiting everyday, in anticipation for our created player ATG drop. Tbh it felt like forever. On those many days when I couldn’t play because I was too busy, I would pick up my phone at a traffic stop and load the game to see if she was there. Haha.
I chose my daughter as my ATG. She was 2 yrs old here. She’s 6 now. I showed her that shes in an app baseball game and her reaction “meh.” 😂 If it isn’t Minecraft or Roblox, she isn’t interested. Lol. I went with the LHP and RHP skills. I haven’t had much time to play recently or else I would have also moved up to diamond. But I love it! The best gift Glu could ever give! ❤️ Thank you Glu and thank you for keeping me in the loop, Alex! He sent me in game messages, keeping me updated. 😁 Side note: 1st base is the first position I played when I started playing softball at the age of 8. Then I met my true love, outfield, later in my career and played center and left field through college. Hopefully, my daughter follows in my footsteps, but she’s talking soccer. 🤦🏻♀️ If anyone hasn’t heard of the Pinkertons, well shame on you. 😂
@dfbb I’m sure you will give a good write up on your woh success rate with your custom atg, what’s his current overall and did you take Scioscia’s skills that high ect...last year once 490+ guys came out I was taking there skills to gold cost and they were almost automatic especially with gold boost..I’ll probably wait till the first 490 woh specialist but it would be nice too know how high you would take a finisher right now.

I actually took Scioscia's skills to 20/20 a couple of weeks ago. He's extremely dominant. He's yet to lose and rarely makes outs when I use the 80g boost at 6.10. I also don't need any videos with him at 5.10. It's a very nice luxury. Considering that gold is rather easy to acquire once you're diamond, I felt it was a very easy call to take Scioscia(and my legend) up to 20/20.

Thanks! : ) Something about those skills I like. Ruth has the RHP skill and he is phenomenal against those pitchers. I thought lets make her a switch hitter with both of those skills. She smoked the last pitcher on level 6 in WOH. She kicked my score up in cvc. She is awesome in prime events. I need to test her in tournaments and in bonus. I believe that skill is useful in all events. Or I could be dead ass wrong and chose the worst skills. Lol. I guess we will see.
Why does @DFBB have "legend" at the bottom, while @snowy24 doesn't? Weird. Very awesome, you two! Interesting skills @snowy24 as she'll always have only one skill active, but will always have at least one skill active lol. Too bad you guys didn't choose dual tie game skills 🙃

All things being equal, I would have chosen DFBB's skills as well (double late-inning). Basically, with those skills, you will always have the very best WOH closer in the game, and since WOH is the best vehicle for building a team (and my favorite aspect of TSB), it's the best choice.
Still, those skills are never active in CVC, and only active in the last third of Bonus Games, Prime Events and Tourneys. The player's ratings are so good that his stats will be excellent regardless, but I can see why @DFBB might have struggled with the decision.

I manually bat quite a bit and noticed that Rizzuto(no active cvc skills) rarely ever makes an out in CvC. My hitting upgrades probably help, but I figure since my legend will evolve, it can stay ahead of the curve w/o having an active boost during CvC.
I think I might've accidentally hit one 515 ft on Monday. I say accidentally because I rarely pull the ball. In my experience, pulling(swinging early) the ball is one of the few ways where you can mess up a 'hittable' at bat. That said, most of my homers are of the 350-370 ft variety. They all count the same! lol
Try a HR battle and see how far you can hit one. I’ve hit 520 ft with my legend in battle. In games it’s super rare to even break 450 cause I always hit opposite field.
@DFBB what does your player look like in WOH boosted to the max with your skills
During live boost, I always do the 40g boost.
Why? Should be an easy win
It probably is, but I'd rather not chance things when I'm trying to get in as many cycles as possible.
edit: @CanadaCubs Comparatively speaking, Scioscia(20/20) was much more dominant vs Verlander than my legend is vs Blue. Scioscia rarely made an out against Verlander.
