    Took me 40 boxes... Glad I've been saving my gold and haven't bought a box in months because no player had been worth the gold.

    Was sitting on D8 Brett and feeling hopeless I could max him by Monday without spending cash. CvC win nets me 2 boxes... hit Brett on consecutive pulls and now have him at D10! Took that as a sign and pumped his skills to 20/20 & did the same with Toby. Bye bye gold, hello WOH dominance.

    Took me 33 boxes I believe. Then I did get him a repull upgrade within the next 10. D8 now and skills at 20/20. Hoping to somehow scrounge your 11K more LXP before the night is over, move him to D9, and pray for a repull from my cvc boxes today to get to D10

    @nwaredstar77 has his own strategy for shakes, but I think we’re both in the same mindset. Believing in yourself is step 1.

    The lesson I learned, painfully....is that you never chase unless you have the full boat of resources to land him for sure.  I’ve dropped tens of thousands of gold chasing guys in this game when I probably needed 3-4x what I had to guarantee I would get him.

    What does that mean?  
    There is no guarantee no matter how much you spend.
