If there is no cheat out on the first at bat, you get a cheat out after every score, so you have to be able to load the bases and hit a HR. If not, you better hope you have good RNG bc you have no margin for error.

I used Molitor capped G10, 17/17 skills. He got whooped by Babe 6-2, 6-3. Moving on to someone else.
I tried Molitor at 4.10 and got beat twice in a row (skills up to the gold level). Started over, tried PeeWee, cleared it first time. His skills are also leveled up to the gold level.
My conclusion is that, as suspected, leadoff doesn't work correctly.
