I now have this dilemma. Paige will be my Keeper SP. But out of these guys, who should be my two batters? I’m thinking Cruz and Lansford or Brett and Cabrera. I think I have to leave Honus behind because lower Power and higher Speed.

All my opinion but: Brett is the best player on this list, RHP is a top skill and 3B narrowly edges OF in terms of use as OF is usually plentiful. Now, considering Brett is your 3B, that eliminates your need for Lansford entirely. If you are desperate to pick a Righty with double lefty skill, I wouldn't fault you for taking Cabrera. Better version of Wagner. SS is a premium position as well for Keepers. I would like you to consider this though - Brett and Cruz. Yes, two lefties with double RHP. You will find over the course of an entire year, that RHP is active WAY more than LHP. LHP is kinda crappy honestly. If you can make your legend a switch hitter with runners on or something, you can use your legend as a lefty specialist and I think you would be better off for it. Righties are plentiful and you will get good ones in '20. They don't have to be your keeper. But good lefties with double RHP are incredibly useful in all modes.

This is good advice. I could keep Cabrera, Bench or Lansford (all double LHP, 600 guys) to pair with Brett, but I'm thinking about taking Yogi (RHP, Runners On) and Brett instead. Maybe even Ruth, whose Runners On skills play against lefty or righty pitchers.
Now that 19 is done and likely no new players I can question my keepers. My decision comes down really right the hot hitter skill. I’ve never had a player with it but it’s intriguing since it’s got a low threshold for activation (one measly hit) and then will be on regardless of score, pitcher, inning, etc. I’m going between either 580 Posada (switch hitting nice) and 600 Ferrell (2x hot). And I have Cruz and Gonzo from this past weekend. Both 600 but Cruz is exclusively vs Rhp while Gonzo has the hot hitter skill as well. Plus I have Mantle, Berra, Brett. Thoughts?
Alright, I guess it is time for me to quiz the masses. Thoughts on keepers for me? Leaning towards Ferrell and Mick, but I am wavering...
Imo, the Brett and Ruth. I love those skills they have and usable in every mode. The Cabrera looks sexy because of the position but those skills are basically useless except for 6.10 on WoH. Yogi and Bench are also strong selections because of position. I fell in love with the double rob when I got the Posada and then Ruth that is almost neck and neck with double rhp imo anyways...
On my last tsb19 box, I only had one atg batter, so I was going to have to settle for some scrub 600 player. And then, I pulled this magnificent man. Glu came in clutch last minutes cause they want me to play again next year.
While y’all are here, How do I get my keepers to transfer over? I can’t figure it out
Play the tutorial part, then go to settings. Login with your email and PW you used in 19’. Then play a bonus game. That should do it. Make sure all software updates are in place
The only things from 19 that are relevant in 20 are: VIP status and the 3 keepers you choose.
For keepers, don't overthink it. They are very useful, but are expensive to level, and can be replaced. C, 2B, and SS are tough positions to fill sometimes, so that can be a factor, too. Pitchers are easy choices. Most people take their highest-max SP. If you have a few SP that are the same overall, stuff rating is the next best indicator. If you have a 600max RP, that could be a good choice, too. I took:
Nope. Everyone starts at B1. The max ratings are currently at 48% of their '19 max, so a 600 in '19 is currently 288 max in '20. They will increase periodically throughout the season, just like ML.
That means that, theoretically, they will be slightly behind the best new players released. As far as cost, I believe that it is still 5x the cash, bxp, Evo, and gold as a new bxp player. Skills are also 5x, I think. I just leveled mine without paying too much attention to it, tbh.
Same question as everyone else, well two part question. 1st, who do I chose to take with me? I have the SP set, my only 600 S. Paige. Next in line would be B. Blylevin. It’s the two batters I’ve got a question about. I have @ C: Johnny Bench or ATG Y. Berra then it’s a choice of 2nd base: Davey Johnson or OF: ATG Babe...I understand 2nd can be a tough spot to fill, their all 600...all Legends. Thoughts? This is my first season switch & I really want to get this right instead of just hitting the install button & then find myself with no players from my 2019 team. Is there a “method” used to ensure you get these players & migrate your account correctly the first time? I did read a comment above regarding dl’ing 2020, playing tutorial, then going to settings, then log in? Wouldn’t I already be logged in? Any help on these is greatly appreciated. Much thanks to everyone out there & be good in all you do...
@ judgesmails1 thank you for your input...the only one in days! I still haven’t migrated to 2020 as I am worried I’ll mess something up. But thank you.
So far keepers don’t matter too much. Last year they were more valuable, but this year they seem devalued unless they update and improve their rankings.
