Yup. You still make cash for sure. And you can pull a ton of xp in a day. Doesn’t hurt having d9 bell and capped mantle at the end. I can’t finish HOF very quick.

Only problem with doing speed laps is it eats gold and limits cash gains.

If I’m doing a speed lap I auto play everything including using gold on level .8,.9 and just play the .10s. A normal round is auto play anything less then 2000 cash . That takes about 17-18 min

I'm not sure about too easy......maybe too boring. The only event that is a challenge would be WOH, and even then with the randomness of outcomes, it is a joke. to clarify I keep cycling after capping just for the xp. It’s a grind but to me it’s the only resource positive event offered in this game.

I cycle cap for the xp. I started yesterday with 100k ish xp. Cycled to get wolters Then use my xp to get him to diamond 1 , then cycle to get him to d10. im no expert ... but i would say you will struggle due to having no cash. Your team would be fine with some leveling but you will struggle getting bonus games from tourneys. I went from gold with a similar team but had 5+ mil cash.
