  • Good one. The auto tap cheaters definitely rule the day. Those of us who don’t cheat don’t stand a chance at these events.
  • @ShoveItUpYoenis2 This is hilarious! Can’t stop laughing. Thanks for dropping a reference to me. Makes me feel important. LOL
  • I guess I’m the only one here that likes the Mick’s skills. I have LL 540 Michael Brantley with those 2 skills and he’s batting .810. Mick, as a higher overall switch hitter, will do even better. For the D6 Diamond cyclers, prime players, and CvC lovers, the blowout skill is the best skill since it will be activated for…
  • Not quite. I have capped 540/560 Legends with great WOH skills, but they are batting over 100 points lower than 500/520 legends with the blowout. For bonus games, my right-handed hitting LL Rendon at 520 with double blowout skill is hitting 30 points higher than my 540 lefty Double Trouble George Brett. But, of course for…
  • Not yet. They told me to wait a few weeks because Glu switched offices. By that time TSB20 will be here.
  • @cooldowncanadacubs You’re right. That EAS NHL ‘94 is legendary. It’s one of the greatest video games of all time. It’s featured in a lot of 90’s movies.
  • Agreed. There was a time when it took a miracle for me to beat HOF Level 1. But once I started capping guys at D10 with 20/20 skills, HOF became easy and I was able to repeatedly cycle without spending gold or doing video restarts.
  • I hear you, but for those of us Diamond guys that play a lot of bonus games and cycle D6, don’t knock the blowout skill. I have that Vizquel and he has a .829 batting average for with 5.0 AB/HR.
  • Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that “Keepers” all had the same overall ranking no matter what. I thought that it wouldn’t matter if someone had as a keeper a regular prime, legend, or ATG, because they all would progress to the same overall ranking no matter which their prior years’ designation was. Or is it the…
  • To me, the best thing about Diamond is cycling D6 for 650 Evo, 7,500 gold, and 250k blue cash. Also, having the Diamond 2x points bonus is nice. But Diamond was a real grind to achieve and maintain a winning, dominant team. Diamond was an incredible time suck and time waster that got me away from being personally…
  • After seeing that chart, I’m convinced that @SandlotGuru is a MIT grad. NASA Mathematician.
  • I agree that folks who figure out this game stack lefties and switch hitters in their lineup. I noticed that my D1 Erstad had a much higher batting average than my D5 Signature Primes. That’s when I learned the value of stacking lefties and switch hitters.
  • @DFBB I’m sincerely interested in your comments on this topic. What do you mean by a “culture of cheating”? How are people cheating in TSB19? Are you suggesting that the top teams and clubs get that way through cheating?
  • I’m confused by the earlier posts. What does “f2p” mean? What is the BigPReds strategy?
  • What!? That shouldn’t be. There’s literally nothing else you can do to improve your WOH lineup, yet it still remains a struggle!?
  • Wow, Dr. Smart. That’s a very impressive WOH lineup. I would’ve assumed that you would breeze through WOH with ease, but based on your past posts, it seems like it’s been a struggle.
  • I’ll be a very casual player at best. I won’t be spending money and hitting it hard like this year. Since I spent all of the time and effort building a team, I’m most interested in playing Match Me games on the TSB19 app even when the TSB20 version is released. I hope we will have that capability. If anyone is interested…
  • @aaronchenn You’re right. That’s hilarious. I love Kershaw in the regular season, but he makes me cringe in big-game playoff situations. I had a premonition that when Dave Roberts brought him in as a reliever against the Nationals, Kershaw would tank - and right on cue, he did!
  • Does anyone think Glu monitors this forum for feedback and will use this thread to make adjustments to the Weekend Royale WOH?
  • @SandlotGuru Another great point, I’m sold! I feel like I tend to have good luck on LXP boxes, but I’m sure if I actually did the math, my LXP yield likely works out consistent with the odds.
  • @SandlotGuru You make a great, compelling point that changed my thoughts. 2,500 gold buys 5 blue mega LXP boxes. At 4,000 LXP average per box, that would be 20,000 LXP. But with the amount of resources you mention to get through Season Mode quicker by using only 2,400 gold, it does make sense to cut the Season Mode time…
  • Great job, nice team!
  • I think it’s a waste of gold to play faster. You’re better off saving gold to buy the blue mega LXP and blue mega PXP boxes.
  • @IFILIETCIH This happened to me several times previously. To stop this from happening, after CvC starts, set your CvC lineup. Then force close and reopen the app before you start playing the CvC. Your issue shouldn’t happen again when you do this. This has worked 100% of the time for me. You just have to remember to do it.
  • That was some good click bait @TheFullMonte
  • @retirepujols Like you, Jose Cruz has been a valuable staple in my everyday lineup. I’ve cycle-capped most HOF WOH Legends since Ernie Banks, but Cruz is the only one that is an everyday player. Since Yogi has the same skills, it makes me believe he’ll be an everyday lineup Beast.
  • A few months ago, I couldn’t beat All Star and won level 1 of HOF only once. After getting all offensive team upgrades to 84/100, the big difference maker for me was having a lineup of capped players all with 20/20 skills, and ensuring the proper RHP v. LHB and LHP v. RHB matchups. This allows me to quickly Autoplay the…
  • @DFBB Your response is why I cannot trust Glu CS. They told me that the lead off skill is only active when the batter leads off an inning. They stated that having the batter in the first batting position in a lineup is not relevant because the batter had to lead off an inning to be active. Glu’s response was why I passed…
  • I hear you and hope you’re right. When I asked Glu CS for clarity, they stated that in WOH, an initially-activated blowout skill turns off once you get within 3 runs.
  • I really don’t see the purpose in wasting resources on a lead off skill player. Glu CS told me it’s only active if that person happens to lead off an inning. There’s only a 1/9 chance of that happening in bonus and prime games, and I still don’t see how it could be always active in WOH. If someone has a different…
