Thanks for organizing @retirepujols and @CanadaCubs, and thanks to everyone that was a part of it. I enjoyed participating in a club full of active people that knew what was going on. Finishing 1st was just icing on the cake.

That puts an awful lot of pressure on that 1 entry, but starting Diamond is smart because you can take all of the entries you get as a diamond and carry them over into the bronze club you started. Does starting a new club after an event has started work the same as joining a club after the event has started (you don’t get any rewards for that event)?

Based on that picture, you don’t have the cash to take your gold guys higher, and I wouldn’t spend the gold taking that Trout to gold. I’d start saving up.

It sounds like you should be in pretty good shape for Monday. Wednesday could be a different story, but I think you’ve got enough to get it done, and if you can get PotM Alvarez up there that’ll definitely help too with level 5 being so righty heavy.

@mwilson829, I’d hold it, and use it on a batter later, especially if you plan to go to diamond. I was winning enough with G10 pitchers when I got to diamond, but you might need prime guys to cycle WOH eventually. It’ll at least be easier with them. Also, your plan for PotM pitcher sounds good. It took me 19 Mil/Chi boxes to get a player. I pulled Cain from #19 and Rizzo from #20. I wouldn’t give up on seasons. @bayoubengal previously posted about the strategy for winning that. I was skeptical at first, but won just enough to make the playoffs, thought I was done when I got the Astros in the first round, but somehow beat them and then got the Angels and Royals for a season finals victory.

I have set a min of 1mil cash (plus the option to cash in gloves, balls, helmets if I need cash in a pinch), 150 tourney boxes (most likely containing enough bonus games for a D6 cycle), and 1000 bonus games (only need about 700-800 for a diamond cycle). I play tourneys any time that isn’t WOH Monday or BG Thursday events.…

Oh my! I haven’t taken anybody above 9s yet, and I seem to have more troubles when I have the live boost. Thanks for sharing. I’ll have to consider investing more in the player skills if I start running into problems.

“Pretty quick” is relative. 45K gold per 6000 games....that almost gives you the gold needed to get 1 of your hitting upgrades from 85 to 100, when there’s a sale.
