Is anyone worried that the game is potentially turning to a subscription-based service? Or that it will shift towards that in a way that makes it non-competitive for non-subscribers? From a business model perspective, it makes a lot of sense. But not if it's done the wrong way.
@SherlockHolmes A few weeks ago, I made a post saying I was doing the same thing you are. Spending 150 gold after every Season Mode series. Basically, I was cutting the time it took to get to the Finals in half. Ever since I posted that, and I am 100% serious, I missed the playoffs for the first time this season. And now…
What do you mean bad luck on weekends? Weekend events are typically very easy to win. Do you mean you usually don't have players on the weekend bonus teams?
I have to say, I will be impressed of they send out free POTW boxes. That is the type of gesture that may lure some people back. I know the POTWs don't crack everyone's lineup, but its a step in the right direction.

There's a few 3.5 and 4 star players I've pulled at least 25 times through the course of the game. I have one 3.5 star player and one 4 star player in my inactives (they're both Braves I'm holding on to for mostly nostalgia). Both are one level away from being capped. You think I'm ever going to pull those guys again?
This weekend, as well as the past few weekends, shows their sense of urgency to generate more profits. Sadly, they’re going about it the wrong way. It almost seems like they have a group of teenagers coming up with their business strategies.
