More importantly, I hope the difficulty is returned to normal. Even if the player gets discarded after, the XP is what is most valuable.

I think the biggest problem is the inverse relationship between better team = harder to impossible to compete. In every other game mode, higher tiers do better. In slugfest, once you move past bronze, it becomes harder and harder.

It's not even having to spend gold. That is reasonable at 5.10. But the fact that the best sluggers in the game, capped at D10+ max gold boost + perfect rounds, still had a 0% chance to win in 4 of the 5 matchups is unfathomable.

Take a long term perspective. For whatever position your keeper is, as soon as you level up a 4th player over the course of a year, it would’ve been cheaper to just do the keeper from the beginning.

You don't want to try again. I just hit my point of giving up. I broke through on the first attempt of the day with keeper Brett. Since then, 0-10 with an alternation of P10 Freeman with 8/8 and P10 keeper Brett with 8/8. Does not make sense at all.…
