@Haraycaray Get to diamond as soon as you can. WoH isn’t much different when compared to platinum. Only need 1-2 bats at diamond 3 to compete. If you cycle multiple times, you can level a player up in diamond without using resources.
My ultimate goal is to get through the Diamond tiers and cycle diamond 6 for gold and EVO. My team is not ready to do that yet. -I plan on spending 2 weeks at diamond 1 while i get 4 players to diamond 10 through WOH. This will also allow me to store up resources when I am ready to start moving through the diamond tiers.…
So I finished my first WOH at diamond. Here are the results. I was able to complete 10 cycles. Before After bxp- 112k Bxp- 237k cash- 2.4 million. Cash- 3.1 million EVO- 1,074 EVO- 907 Team strength- 81,600. TS- 83,300 -I only had 2 players in diamond, Torres at D3 and Ohtani at D1. Three players were in platinum at tiers…
@Linco32 I struggle at CVC in diamond right now. Give me a couple weeks and I will have more bats leveled up in diamond and my CVC scores will improve.
Well my plans changed when I saw the Gleyber Torres special offer this weekend. Shortstop was my weakest position, and his skills were ideal for WOH. I wanted to take advantage of the weekend discount, so I made the jump to diamond on Sunday morning. -Getting through platinum is a grind when you are trying to do the…
@Houmy thanks! I was silver way too long last year and didn’t get to enjoy the benefits of being a diamond team for very long. The lack of PXP was my deciding factor for moving up. No use in getting primes if I can’t even get enough PXP to level them up. Hopefully I will be able to do diamond WOH on Monday.
@Linco32 I don’t feel like you need to have the hitting skills maxed at platinum to be successful at WOH. It helps to have them leveled high or maxed, so I will slowly build them up as I gain more cash.
First Platinum WOH results... Before After Bxp- 410k Bxp- 278k cash- 5.2 million Cash- 2.4 million EVO- 1,200 EVO- 1,040 Did 7 total cycles...4 at gold (leveled Ohtani to gold 7 and capped him with cycles) and 3 at platinum (leveled him to platinum 7 and cycled him to platinum 10). Have only updated my batting skills so…
@midgetmullet I don’t worry too much about season games right now because the ewards aren’t that great. I need to level up my pitchers to be able to win bonus games at platinum and the playoff games to keep moving up tiers. Once I get to diamond, I will level a few pitchers to platinum 10. I will do the bare minimum with…
@TBWepa My team strength is 65k, but that is because I haven’t done much to my pitching staff. My hitting team skills are all maxed at gold right now. My pitching skills are at 50/60.
My plan is to move to platinum on Wednesday after I get the guaranteed player from WOH and level him to gold 8. I will then cycle him to gold 10. Once I have him at gold 10, I will win my playoff series and move to platinum. The current players I will be leveling to platinum are... Lowe- Platinum 10 Santana- Platinum 4…
I know my ability to build a strong base of resources at the beginning of the year will be hurt if they completely do away with derby/slugfest. I know a lot of guys don’t like or use it, but having a solid slugger lineup has always been helpful for me in bronze/silver tiers. Anything above those tiers, and it is too…
Two of my hopes for 2019 didn't happen, so my playing time for 2018 is going to go way down. 1. Diamond teams would get more players to bring over. 2. Only players capped at your team level would be allowed to come over to 19. No reason to level guys up anymore. My goal until the new version comes out is to hopefully get a…
Someone else posted this on the Line app. Worked for me, so I thought I would pass it along. Not sure what to do if you aren’t connected to Game Center though.
Here is what I have done during my experience in diamond for a month and a half. I only play tournament games on Monday and Wednesday because I spend most of my time with WOH on these days. Usually cycle about 5 times. Tuesday- split it up every 100 wins. I play 15 tournaments and then 40 bonus games. Thursday and Friday-…
I agree about the cost of leveling pitchers at diamond not being worth it. I have 2 blue XP pitchers with a 515 overall rating. One is at diamond 7 and the other is at diamond 5. I could have used that blue XP for leveling the skills of new prime and legend players that I am bring to diamond. I should have focused on just…
Not sure how much legend XP you have after leveling Holiday Ted, but I would try to find a club with the 0.3 leveling discount and level Boggs as much as you can. This will be the only time you get a discount for leveling him.
I agree about not spending cash on team upgrades. Use your cash for player upgrades and buying tournament boxes when you get low on bonus games. You will also have a ton of gloves and balls to donate for club boxes to build up your cash.
Keep posting your experience with the move. I think you are helping a ton people as they consider moving to diamond. You get to be the guinea pig for others!
Glad you made the jump. You now have the weekend to get through as many levels of diamond as you can before WOH on Monday. Once you get the 600 EVO for level 6, and can repeat that over and over, you will be fine to level up as many players as you want.
Kemp and Bogarts are basically the same player with their ratings and bonus skills. Since there is usually only 1 lefty in the last 4, it doesn’t make sense to spend resources to level up both players. I would focus on just Kemp since you already have him in platinum.
I think you should save your gold until you make the jump to diamond. It goes quick once you make the move up. I would recommend going to diamond now, spend 20k leveling up players, and then get Xander. You could find a club with the leveling discount and save a ton leveling him up to diamond.
