I have to say the Gift Inbox was one of the best additions in a long time. Once in a while you got to give GLU a little credit. They should just throw CVC rewards in there. Problem solved.

It is very streaky, "feast or famine" for me as well. I go weeks with only addition being Walk-Off Hero rewards and then I will add 3 or 4 players within a couple of days.

They haven't put out a decent 2B in WoH Classic/Royale in awhile. My only starter still at 325 max. The last few players have been helpful. Beaty especially. Love his hit rating.

I look at it as it turns it into a switch hitter. The downside is you really don't get a huge boost. I mainly offsets the same-handedness.

A word of advice. Stains from quality balsamic are hard to remove. So, be careful where you are eating, what you are wearing, and how much you use.
