Yes, POTW are boosted for 1 week only. After that, they drop to around the maximum regular overall, maybe a bit more. I think this week Mancini drops to like 340 and the other player to like 360.

seems like a theme this week with POTW boxes. I also opened the 2 free from fan rewards, nothing. Then 1 more, nothing, then a fourth one and I got the weakest player (Mancini). I mean the weakest player in terms of not being the WOH bonus on Friday and also the one that falls more after the boost.

if you really want to go to gold for many reasons, sure, but don't do it just for HOF. I'm silver too and beat HOF every week without spending any gold for boosts, just the video boost. not sure what is the point of this box. A 400 prime SP at this point? It is cheap, but still. Besides, the "news" message they sent seems confusing, talking about extending fan rewards through Sunday (it is always through Sunday) and restart before 11 PDT if you want to reset???? Also when donating you have to keep in mind that if you donate enough resources to jump 2+ levels (say from silver 2 to silver 4 or 5), you only get rewards for the last jump, which also sucks. @DFBB you were correct about Rizzuto. He got Verlander without out in the 6th try. Interesting enough (and reinforcing my weird "over-boost theory"), Rizzuto failed twice with 80 gold boost, failed twice with 40 gold boost and failed once with free video boost. agree with @DFBB, but like he said, it depends on whether you have other good lefties or righties. At the end of the day, you cannot cycle WOH (as an example) if you don't have at least one righty-killer and one lefty-killer
