They sent out a notice about a CvC Matchup starting about the same time the "maintenance" started. Also sent a notice for a gift at 1 Eastern, followed by another notice for another gift at about 1:40 Eastern. Must be awesome maintenance...

I love that my G10/5/5 Stan Musial with a 196 rating loses to a B4 pitcher with a 42 rating on Level 1.8. And this is labeld as "Easy WoH" on the compete menu.

I think that's more of a "game play" issue because it's intended. I'm thinking more along the lines of stupid things that show they're just mailing it in, like offering a third 295 SS in the first two weeks of the game.

I started a complaints only thread so hopefully topics intended to help game play can stay focused, but just curious. Do you not see it as a problem that the game is so dramatically below standard/not ready for GA, or do you just not care because the game play at Champions Level is that enthralling?

I recall Dinger always starting out harder until you get more higher rated players, regardless of whether you're uisng your maxed out keeper or not.

The game plays faster on my old iPhone XS than my new iPhone 12 Pro Max. I can start a bonus game on each phone at the same time, same network, and finish the game on the XS while the 12 Pro is in the 4th inning. Plus the 12 Pro gets hot.

Did it acknowledge that the first week was free in some way? Subscriptions were always billed on Mondays or Tuesday’s, so I don’t know how Glu would handle 7 free days starting on a Wednesday or Thursday.

Yup, that was CS response. I didn't notice if i wass affected by the glitch either, but it was a nice comp gift, even if it is only week 1 level players. My other team didn;t get the gift becuae it did not join my club in time to be in the event, even though it joined within minutes of the club being created.

BTW, "Willy's Wardrobe" has to be the most absurd box name ever used in this game. Just call them Gear Boxes FFS.

Skills leveling only uses Evo? Or does it change to something else after a certian level?

For a game where the engine essentially hasn't changed since I started playing in 19, the number of graphic and video lags and gltiches is astounding. Also, pet peeve, but time to refresh some head shots for players. There are guys that are still showing the team they were on 2 years ago.

I’ve never posted on global but it might be a good time to tell them how great Text to Chat is.

I survived the Text to Chat box. I forced restart the game, then tried to push every green box that came on the screen until I could get back to the setting menu and unclick the green box around text to chat. This eventually worked after several tries. I did try to talk into the phone too, which made my 4 month old puppy…

Still looks like a beta to me. Game is a cpu hog. My iPhone heats up and screen lags have cost me some gold and cash. Also clicked the “text to speech” box on settings by mistake. Don’t do that.

Depends some on the game modes you prefer, but switch hitters with double skills are usually best. For you that’s Chipper and Mantle.
