Help needed

I am new to the game. Hubby and I play it alot. But is there a walkrough i cant find or can someone shed some light...i cant seem to figure out how to use all the inactive players we have...alot

You have to go to the team tab, and move them into your active roster.  12 hitters, 5 SP, and 5 RP are all that your active roster can hold at any given time.

Oh ok thanks...another question if you dont mind. Do the players aquire more stars as you play along in the game?

Their star rating is assigned and never changes. There's different versions of some players. You just rank them up and that's their rating
