Power based games and skills

Do the hitter skills affect the power based games like Target Bash?  They don't appear to and there aren't any icons.

Also, does anyone have Luis Arraez?  He's got a hit of 90 for a 3.5 star guy.

TB and Slugfest are 100% tied to the power rating.  Nothing else matters.
