What happens if I lose a playoff series to advance to next tier level , do I have to play all the games over again for that tier level

I think you have to win just one BG, then the Playoff series restarts.

I believe it has to do with the tier. Bronze is one game (1 game playoff), silver is 2 (2 wins to win playoff) etc.  so silver would set you back to something like 38/40. Gold would set you back to something like 137/140 because those playoff series are best of 5

It’s sort of a combination of both replies, but it takes you back the amount of games you lost the series by. So once you’re up to the 7 game series, if you lose a series 4-0 you will go back down 4 games. If you lose it 4-3 you will only go back one game. But yeah, between 1-4 games are all that you will go down if you lose a playoff series
