General TSB Discussion Guidelines: READ BEFORE POSTING

[Glu Sports] blueleopard[Glu Sports] blueleopard Administrator, Moderators 581 Posts
GUIDELINES:
  1. No spam. All automated messages, advertisements, and links to competitor websites will be deleted immediately, and the account posting such information will be met with a BAN.
  2. This is not a Customer Service outlet.  If you have a specific issue that seems to only be happening with your account, let Customer Care know.  If you can't access it in-game, you can definitely get a hold of them here: https://glumobile.helpshift.com/a/mlb-tap-sports-baseball-2020/?l=en&contact=1
  3. With that, don't make a post calling out a moderator or admin.  If you need me or somebody else, send us a PM.  I can't guarantee we'll get back to you right away as we have other duties, but you guys are definitely a daily priority.
  4. Cheating.  Cheating sucks.  We hate cheaters, and we want you to help us find these cheaters, but we want you to do it the right way.  Don't call someone out on the forum.  Let an admin like myself or Mr. Uni know so we can look into it.
  5. Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by a mod or admin.
  6. Respect people. No flaming or abusing fellow forum members, moderators, or administration. Users who continue to post inflammatory, abusive comments will be deleted from the forum after two warnings are issued by moderators.  DON'T BE A JERK.  WE WANT THE TSB COMMUNITY TO BE ONE OF THE MOST POSITIVE COMMUNITIES AT GLU AND IN MOBILE GAMING.  DON'T BE "THAT" PERSON.
  7. Harassment. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior is grounds for deletion from the forums.
  8. Adult content. No suggestive images or pornography is allowed. Posts containing adult material will be deleted.  We're a little more lenient with swearing, but don't be a disrespectful foulmouth.
  9. Illegal content. No re-posting of copyrighted materials or other illegal content is allowed. Any posts containing illegal content or copyrighted materials will be deleted.
  10. Keep private messages within private messages.  Posting something somewhat said to you in a PM/DM on the forum is just bad taste.  This also includes your Customer Care tickets. Those posts will immediately be deleted, and secondary offenses will result in a ban.

If you're talking about the feedback forum, I'm about to get that.  If you're talking about what's generally posted every day, I look at it once a day and report what needs reporting.

As I'm sure you know, me reporting something doesn't mean it gets immediately acted on.

You need to do more to address the users here Blue.  its becoming a point where we dont want to play when we feel constantly cheated.

I have it!!! We all need to GG our upgrades past 100. That will allow us all to win. That explains why we all suck at WOH. Thanks Blue, I knew you had the answers.

I'm not going to pretend to know what it is you're referring to, but if it's important enough for you to tag me, it would also behoove you to just send me a PM.

For the record, I put this up because there were threads I caught up on this morning with discussions over the weekend that were hardly productive. Just blatant toxicity.  I re-posted these rules from the TSB19 forum as a reminder of what situations the admins will take action on.

I like to think that I'm a pretty lenient guy with a long leash when it comes to me interjecting.  I get asked all the time if so-and-so should be banned, and oftentimes I tell them "No, rough times right now for everyone and they just need somewhere to voice out."

Yes tough times for everyone and yet you and your decisions makers are still trying to milk us for every penny we dont have. Instead of coming here and saying, hey guys we are going to try and make things better. You do nothing of the sorts. Look at how pissed of people are, its not just here. Ask your developers how things are in their chat with the players. Even your precious moderator agrees, and hes actually a friend of mine and I respect the hell out of him. He even thinks that you guys are on a whole new level this year with screwing us over. But hey, who cares right.

I thought the idea of the forums was to present issues and air grievances. You don’t have to always agree on everything. Can’t you just ignore when someone says something you don’t like.  I’m lost here. This seems like a person in a position of fake power acting butthurt over words on a screen. I don’t know either of them personally but they contribute and are funny and do present valid points about a money making game that has really taken a nose dive.  I don’t like this one bit.

I admit, I have not been around on the forums recently because I disapprove of this game and have constantly voiced my opinions about it, and have quit it. But I am curious at to why the forums have become a repository for plain spite. It appears to me that users have been banned for violating rules that do not exist in the name of "anti-toxicity."

In my somewhat limited (I've only been around for a year) experience, Blue has not been active in our community. He has not been monitoring every discussion, every comment, and every post. And that's okay. I'm sure his job consists of more than babysitting grown men who are responsible enough to talk civilly on the internet. That is the reason it was necessary to make forum favorite DFBB moderator.

What I do not understand is the general apathy this company for its users. This includes you, Blue. I am willing to call you out on this because others need to see it, and I will not be coerced into cowering into a corner for fear of being banned. Glu does not care about its fanbase. This is evident in customer service, in game content, and elsewhere. In a time where everyone is generally unhappy and on edge, can we not resort to a community where we can chat and converse like the adults we are without being dictated by our authoritarian overlords? Could staples of the forum (and the game in general) not be banned for violating unwritten rules?

Ban me if you want. I do not care for this game any longer, as it came to my (and most of my former club's) attention that Glu is completely ignorant of its fans. And the actions evident here are no incentive to come back. A movement to silence well-respected dissenters without giving due process is unjust and will ultimately be the downfall of any authority.

+1 - not that I'm doing anything to get banned but as a quitter, it feels damn good to be released from the addiction. Pretty much echos my sentiments around why I quit.

I understand why it's so hard for a lot of people to quit, but I got fed up with the direction of the game which was obvious to me that they were going straight to a spending requirement to compete model when they implemented cool down in 2019.

Miss the community and I check in with my former club mates on line from time to time, but I'm generally happier having uninstalled tsb. Also apparently @retirepujols doesn't miss me 😭😭😭

@blueleopard Read these words heed these words, just understand that this weekends "toxicity" was due to the frustrations of the game and some of the people that TAKE NO ACTION EVER yes including you..MANY people have reached out to you in PM as requested and you have done nothing. don't be lazy...do as asked of you isn't that the reason for your being here at all? the general feeling is these 3 guys are a good addition to the forum and really just represent the feelings that 98% of the people playing this game have. take it for what its worth man. don't ignore the fan base...this is why people "spew" this stuff

Hi there, new to MLB TSb, had a question in regards to players. Should I always load up on hitters, sluggers and not worry about pitchers?
