World rankings/pitcher ratings

Just so I could see how good his players were, I searched and played the guy that’s #3 in the world rankings. His team’s strength is like122,000 plus(maybe higher). When the game started, his team strength was much higher than mine(82,000). Well when I went to bat, his pitchers rating was 36 or 39. It blew my mind that it was this low bc his team was pretty high. Well, I’ve never had more trouble getting a hit off of a P than I did this cat. Is it common to keep pitchers rated that low bc they’re tough to hit or is this just something random?

Most likely he had b1 starters because he had the bonus reliever, probably even the big bonus combo for 50k per k.  At least I know I did this weekend 😂😂

@whynot, with a bonus reliever do you just autoplay and let him pitch for 1 or 2 innings or do you manually play and use energy drinks to keep him in and get more K's?

I replace all starters/relievers with b1 pitchers, and put the bonus reliever at r1.  Then I auto play, he normally gets about 4 innings.  I only do this on prime games, obviously I lose more games but I score more club points per gold spent then if I didn’t.
