Leveling a Club

Hi there. I'm just wondering why some clubs prefer to stay at a certain level and refrain from glove donations. The higher the club, the better the cvc reward and thats it right? I was just curious if there's something I'm missing.

I have a silver club that I leave public and in the notes, I ask that guys not to donate gloves. Reason being, silver loyalty boxes offer the best cash value. I could go to a random silver club, but it's more convenient for me to hit the same spot. Another reason could be that a club may want to level several times at once, rather than periodically.
