Pennants in Fan Rewards Box Plus

Can we get the 2000 pennants removed from the FR plus box?  It's a total rip-off to spend 20,000 gold and end up with 2000 pennants especially when you can spend 1000 and get 500.  At least make it 10,000 pennants or remove them completely.

    Especially since I don't know if pennants even do anything.
