That's not an easy answer.  As each team/need varies greatly.  I would however hold off until after EB, you might get lucky there.  I bought the 36 box special and pulled him on box #2.  But no repulls.

I went 0 for 19. EB and gifts. At least they took the coins out of the box.

After event ended, I had 2 freebies. I made the decision in NO WAY was I chasing this guy. I chased Newcomb and got bunches of Lxp, also got him, so this guy was not worth the chase. Glu heard me, and gave him to me with the first free pull. Crap. I don’t need to spend resources to cap, but obviously, room is bugged, making decisions difficult. Well played Glu.

After 2 of my teammates were boasting about DiMaggio’s stats, I stated he was hitting .000 for me as I hadn’t got him yet. I then pulled Sutcliffe from my 6th EB box. The 3rd Tuesday in a row that I’ve landed the player.
