This is always the case, since they were introduced. Keepers are only useful for the first half of the game. They server little or no purpose once mediocre legends drop.

They reduced the cost and bxp was flowing after the Marte not-in-the-box debacle some time ago. Got Brett capped at diamond from refund alone and Hoyt the next weekend Royale. It was gravy this year getting them capped compared to last. They also were on pace to be slightly below curve of current bats and sometimes better for a longass time. Once lxp came out and xfactors they lost value but compared to last year they were infinitely more valuable this year (unless you had Babe, TJ, Gibson or Whitey SP keepers last year).

Remember they made a big deal about increasing them after the vip council. It even made it into the newsletters. I guess that was short-lived.

The 'news' was about the xfactors being added onto keepers. Anyways, keepers will be bumped by tomorrow. Fwiw, I'd also expect a bump to max overalls tomorrow too so there's that.
