What stats/gold/players carryover?

Started playing last year, so never had to do the annual merge. Does anything carryover? Do I have to start from scratch? If not, can I carry over my stats, gold, and players?

    Nothing but 2 batters and 1 pitcher that you pick to keep start at bronze 1 and everything else you start from scratch
