I miss Yordano Ventura. Any time he was on the mound, it was entertaining. He could pitch 9 shut-out innings, give up 9 in the first, or start a brawl.
I went with Adenhart, probably because I'm biased as an Angel's fan. I did some growing up in Placentia, CA literally down the street from where he was killed by a goddamned repeat drunk driver on a suspended license. A 22 year old kid, top Angel's prospect, and had JUST pitched his season debut that same night! Smh, that's some bullsh1t right there. Skaggs drugged himself up, Adenhart was blindsided by a piece of sh1t that should be dead - but mooooo, he just kills a few kids and runs away like a coward.

If i was older I'd maybe say Munson but that was before my time. So I go with Fernandez just because he likely was on the road to being a very special pitcher and a shame we can't see that play out.

Cocaine's a hell of a drug. Really sad and stupid way to go - Fernandez really was putting all the pieces together that year.
