Bought Juan Soto for 10 games, how do I add him to the line up? In the upgrade he's on the outside looking in an can't find him in the lineup, any help is appreciated

You have to rearrange your lineup, so that a lower player is in the position you want your franchise player to overtake. It’s weird like that, it should just go into your lineup but you need to move some pieces around

Okay, 1st you don't add Franchise Players to your lineup.  They take the place of a player in your lineup.
2nd it is position based.  Example: If the FP is a catcher he will take the place of your current catcher OR DH, whichever is lower.
3rd Using the previous example the "lower" needs to be lower than the FP you are trying to use.  If your catcher and DH are 200/210 and the FP is 180 he won't take anyone's place and you will burn through his games without ever using him.
4th you can not see him in your lineup, only in the box score (if autoplay) or while you are manually playing.  That is also where you can see who's place he took.
If you want to guarantee who he will hit for and where he will hit put a 1 star scrub in your lineup at the position the FP plays (or DH)

The only value for franchise coins imo, is extra bases otherwise useless as tits on a bull.

Well if you value club points they are important because a lot of the times they are involved in sets.
