I have three different guitars, all built for different tunings.
For the one I play in C standard, C# standard, or Drop B, I raised the bridge and use 11 or even 12s bc 9s or 10s feel like a damn slinky. lol
Another guitar is in D standard and I will also bump it to Eflat.
My favorite (PRS Custom 24) stays in E standard or Drop D.

Ya, just a half step up from normal sometimes a full, but the back and forward from that to open D and G tunings really mess your neck. I have specific guitars now for certain tunings
