8200 tickets and no vip?

Decided to spend today to get me to level 10 all star with 8200 tickets and didn’t receive vip. Even though everyone said it should happen automatically at that point. What do I need to do?

    GLU has always said there is no published threshold so I wouldn't spend based on what others have to achieve it. It sucks but it's the way it is. Sometimes it's not automatic either so give it a day or two.

    positive, just had a friend do it on his holder team. He got it around 8500 he said. It varies but thats the range.

    What @dkarski87 said. You have to take into account all the free tickets they’ve given this year (not many, but enough to move that needle higher). Even though they appear to count to the all-star counter they do not count to the actual amount.

    At least you don't get the blinking red arrow of death like last year..

    I’m at 8451 tickets and nothing yet. Hopefully I get my VIP status. Been playing since 17 and hoping this is the year.
