    Word on the street is that its Sam Malone. Decent Relief Pitcher for the Red Sox back in the day. Ended up owning a hole in the wall Bar downtown Boston.

    Given his looks, I always wondered why he was cast as a womanizer.  His lovely voice perhaps?

    Actually that perfect hair was a wig hiding a bald spot. I was a huge fan and remember George Wendt "Norm" taking off Danson's wig in the drunken finale scene and Danson went crazy mad and walked off.
