I pulled Tenace and Ankiel from the VIP gift, spent 2500 gold and got Lemon, and just now from a CvC box I got Yount. Plus I pulled Mays about a week ago. Just crazy. I don’t think the rewards are intentionally nerfed on VIP weekend, luck just comes and goes in waves.

9 boxes for $20 at a 1% chance is absolutely terrible. At least throw in something like 3,000 gold. Laughable at this point in the game.

He was released late in the event. I bet they make him a bonus once or twice this week, but I wouldn’t expect much. Isn’t him being a worthy addition to all lineups good enough?

I’m not one to ever compliment Glu because I don’t enjoy taking cold showers afterwards... but that Joc is amazing. I took him up to 16/16 skills and slapped a 12% WOH x-factor and he is raking. He might just stay in my lineup through the rest of the year. Well done, Glu. That’s the best they’ll get out of me.

Yup this is right. Blowout should still activate after 4 runs are scored, I confirmed that this morning. Best advice is to put your guys w/ blowout in the bottom 3rd of your lineup to allow those 4 runs to cross the plate by the time they come to bat for the first time.

Damn “Troy Story,” arguably the best SS in the game today 😂 For real, this is one of the many reasons I need to quit. Oh good, I wasted more money than I care to admit chasing some scrub who loses on 2.6. Lol I’d say with BSD Cecil Cooper today and the fact they like to give us 💩 players on VIP weekend, a bump is likely.

If some of you diamond players have time to cycle 30+ times in a day, complain about not pulling the player enough times, then do it again next Monday, and the next, and the next... I don’t think you’re incentivizing Glu to implement a pity timer. Just my two cents 🤷🏻♂️

I’m not a Glu developer, but I’ll speak for them. You cannot hit the curves, they are predetermined outs. No sense in racking your brain like you’re not doing something right.

If I were you, I’d take it as a blessing in disguise and call it quits. If Glu wants you back bad enough they’ll realize you haven’t logged in after a while and will finally take it upon themselves to fix your issue.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I’ll elect to keep 565 Reggie and not level the 2x MOB Hank. Just too marginal of an “upgrade” to waste the resources on. Great gift from Glu nonetheless but just doesn’t fill a hole for me.

If WOH is your only priority you certainly don’t NEED to level either version of Hank. But you should definitely save up lxp to level ATG Hank by the time the next bump comes. Dusty isn’t outdated yet but he will be soon enough. I would probably dump the global gift Hank.

2021 has already taken 3 baseball legends from us: Tommy Lasorda, Don Sutton, and now Hank Aaron. Don’t like this trend one bit. Also, how the hell did Aaron only win 1 MVP award?!

Guerrero has the two best skills in the game IMO. I was stoked to get lucky and pull him. If he was a 600 overall he would for sure be my right handed keeper for next year.
