The Visa ad with the golf club also does a similar screen where it shuts off and the screen turns black. This persisted for over a minute before I gave up and had to force close the app which lost my progress.
I'd agree with you guys. The only mobile game company I've seen without a purely maximizing profit is Supercell. The trade-off with that company is their games (Clash of Clans) has an endpoint like old-school video games
I might not need it, but I video boost 5.8 and 80g boost 5.9/5.10 purely for efficiency's sake. Without the boost, I clear most of the time but do encounter similar stretches to you (D10 max skill Berra, Teddy, Schmidt)
x538 is bigger than x500. It's by design and so you can't just have b1 hitters. They have to be somewhat leveled (at least g10 legends for consistent oppo homers). And then only guaranteed homers once they're diamond leveled
It's the same thing on WOH. Put in an exact timer of when you get the player. Every time, every 3rd cycle, whatever it is. The whole game model has been worse odds, with less guarantee. It drives the high-spenders deeper down the whole because if they're already a couple $1000 deep, then they need to keep going. It makes…
I might be wrong, but I think they're trying to make WOH become tournaments (great way to pull resources if done properly, but terribly inefficient and going to get a way below curve player). In many ways, the direct consequence of increased repull XP was the killing of WOH because that would help the player too much. It…
Expanding on the mini-challenges, when it's running, Extra Bases 2x/week has been very good. The diversity of the game has also been a positive step. My biggest worry for '21 is the further shift towards pay to compete with the atrocious odds. For regular boxes, it's not viable to chase a player unless you have lots of $…
My guess is that they will keep LL under the LXP format (maybe change it back next year). It seems like the prime POTW is their band-aid to have people spend all the extra PXP.
That makes sense. It might not be the worst thing for you if you don't care about club points. Could theoretically get more repull XP without investment for the previous players.
The Tuesday/Thursday boxes have become that with only the player and LXP. It would be nice if they were always available. Maybe a super player for the week?
I think the frequency is due to the box odds. As far as when pulls happen, I think that's always been the case that odds become better when it's later in the event.
It's another one that just doesn't make the cut for me. For WOH, Glaus and Robinson are both better. I have keeper Brett for other game modes. I wish it had been a pitcher. Would have even considered for 2B or 1B. In all honesty, if there was a pity timer in place I would go for it no matter what. But at this point, the…
The whole year, I’ve said the same thing. Make it as difficult as you want, but make the reward equal out. I think the difficulty, is fair but make a timer on the player. I’m thankful the skills were horrible so I didn’t level at all. Ended up 3 for 23. Good news was the over 200K LXP. Hopefully brighter days are ahead.
Another factor adding to its downfall is how it becomes harder and harder each level. From a cakewalk at bronze to near impossible at diamond (especially earlier in the year). I haven't tried it since I was gold in the early months.
@SandlotGuru a pity timer would be perfect. I was par for the course the last 2 WOH and it worked out great, but was scared this might happen eventually. I treat it with the same strategy you do. Monday is worth it now with the new tower to mitigate risk and the weekend gives you time to regress to the mean if bad luck…
I don’t get it. What’s the point of even putting it out there in the first place as a tease to get people upset. I would’ve loved to see that new tower. As long as the rewards are worth it, a harder tower would be awesome.
