  • from July 13: https://communities.glu.com/tap-sports-baseball-2020/discussion/5458991/weekend-field-pass-not-working-cs-unresponsive#latest [Glu Sports] blueleopard said: "When you put in a ticket, every message you send pushes you to the back of the line (or the hotline if you're on that). When an issue is resolved, it's…
  • At this point, I would definitely take that result.
  • Also, I can't imagine GLU claiming the answer is "No" due to the fact that Walker was not a member of the Rockies when the winking thing happened (which he indeed wasn't), because they first asserted that he was involved in the incident.
  • But he didn't wink at Walker at all as far as I can tell. But I went YYY using the same reasoning you did. The thing that happened in 1997 was an homage to 1993 winking thing (without any winking - just playfully throwing above a lefty hitter's head). Why did he do it to Walker? I think it was because Walker took a lot of…
  • Tomorrow's pickem: Babe Ruth was right-handed. Did he ever play for New York?
  • I just purchased the $14.99 FP, got the rewards/milestones but no 30% discount. I messaged Customer Care.
  • So what is everyone answering? I can't decide.
  • Yeah, we've been discussing it in the last few posts of this thread. https://communities.glu.com/tap-sports-baseball-2020/discussion/5459028/mr-mid-summer-classic#latest
  • I feel like GLU thinks the answer should be yes, because they believe the winking at-bat was in the 1997 All-Star game instead of the 1993 All-Star game. Hopefully, they will accept either answer.
  • Today's pickem asserts that the Randy Johnson winking thing was with Larry Walker and asks the question: Was Walker playing for the Rockies at the time? But I thought the winking thing was with John Kruk (and Johnson just sort of reenacted it with Larry Walker in a later All-Star game because Walker had chosen to sit out a…
  • For today's Mon-Thu Field Pass, if I buy both, will I get a 40% leveling discount? Has anyone gotten it to work yet?
  • But that HR never got further than 380 feet from home plate (because it hit the transformer). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enkfX2-uhYE
  • Too bad there's no thing like this for ex-girlfriends (even if they came back as a B1).
  • Sometimes a couple of the choices can correlate, which can help you get better than the totally random 1/8th of a chance, but yeah. Today's pickem is a gimme though!
  • @RodFarva I did this for WOH the other day the try to help me decide how to order my hitters. It's interesting how dramatically my ranking for early/mid rounds differs from my ranking for late rounds (not surprising but interesting). I also wish I could quantify how much HIT and PWR are worth, respectively. It really feels…

  • Thanks @spoc84 and @DFBB! How about SUBs for BG/Tourneys? I assume you want your best non-starter that shines against lefty pitchers. Is that about right? Thanks again
  • "Thanks for that info but which skills are the best for each mode" WOH is RHP or LHP depending on the pitcher, along with 1st Pitch and Late Innings (always on). For rounds where you don't start off down by 4+, then "Close" is always on. For early/mid rounds, RISP and especially ROB are great. For Bonus Games and Tourneys,…
  • I think it's 850 BXP with no discount and 595 BXP with a 30% discount. Even at 850 BXP and never repulling him, I still think it's worth it or close. Of course B10s should make more bonus points than B1s, and if you do repull him, then you'll get ~3000 BXP instead of ~1700 BXP for the repull or something like that (maybe…
  • FWIW, I pulled from free/CVC boxes both Beaty and Kinsler and leveled them to B10 (and repulled Kinsler from a CVC box). I'm also using franchise coins on Heyward for more bonus points, and my SP2 is an Indian (5000 per K). I moved him to SP1 and I'm using an ice pack every game. I'm hoping to hit the 30M progress reward…
  • That's what forced me out of bronze, silver and gold. In 2019, I had a really weak diamond team most of the year, but I could win BGs and tourneys at a high rate. I don't know if that works in 2020 though.
  • If you look at your batting order screen, your ML will show team and pennants info. That makes me think: yes. But I don't know for sure.
  • Very cool. Thanks for doing that. One thing I've been wondering is if there's any value in investing pennants in my keeper pitcher's team. I suppose not.
  • As a non-VIP with a platinum team, I am plowing all the PXP I obtain into the skills of my ML and two position player keepers (plan to do the same when LXP appears). I am reluctant to take temporary players past 8/8. The overall rating of my ML and keepers won't be the highest on my team but their skills being at 12/12 at…
  • Damn, I didn’t have to the balls to go for it, because I was afraid it was too good to be true somehow.
  • anyone attacking the “July 4 hotdog and taters box”? Guaranteed player. Seems like a good way to trade gold for BXP at a good rate if you buy a bunch of boxes.
  • The thornbats search worked for me too but do I get the "Error! User Not Found" thing about 10-20% of the time.
  • Anyone that beat WOH 3+ times this week, don't forget to claim your 200 gold under: challenges > club > scroll to bottom
