there are some threads on this. below is one.
summary: once you reach a certain number of wins, you'll start having a hard time winning bonus games and tourney games (until you move up to platinum or whatever).

go to app store
search tsb 20
tap on the app name (not the "open" button)
it should take you to a screen that has an update button.
worked from IOS anyway.
And they hurt you in season mode (and maybe bonus games), because the higher your team strength, the tougher matchups you'll get. So even if you want to retain them for WOH or CVC, maybe leave them INA instead of SUB.
One issue I have with '20 that didn't happen in '19 is with my right handed hitters.
I'm using the same phone.
Occasionally on a pitch down the middle, I'll tap but the swing doesn't register. I can't remember if it happens in WOH but it definitely …
2019's 560 max Trevor Bauer would usually throw 27K perfectos.
He was supposed to be temporarily boosted but they didn't reduce him back to 390 for a long time.
What a weapon for tourneys and season mode playoffs if you had enough ice packs.
I pulled Correa on a free box yesterday.
There's a lot of variance on these I guess.
That's really running bad to not pull a single 5.8% shot on that many boxes (assuming the 400-gold box).
If my math is correct (probably ain't), you're only like 5…
And they are always the home team.
And sometimes you might temporarily have one or two bonus players in your lineup (not leveled above bronze) for a prime event, CVC or whatever. So you might not be at full strength when that snapshot in time o…
The last time I played season mode playoffs, I used Franchise Aaron Judge to replace my weakest hitter (who was an OF). I could never get Judge out of the #6 spot in the lineup. I played a BG as a test and also tried switches between the first coupl…
That’s the first time I’ve beaten WOH Royale, including in ‘19.
No gold spent. Video boost, video restart, video boost.
Started the inning with two groundouts.
Slightly on topic:
I have noticed that after 5500 games played my 2 keepers (Ruth and Posada) have less than 7 steal attempts each (and those were maybe when I was manually playing). My other players have many hundreds of stolen bases each. I have "…

Trey Mancini is another one (I think). Both the OG and SE versions are 4-stars.
In TSB 2019, it seems like I drafted him 10 times (but never held onto him in between).

Yeah, I just learned this a couple days ago in another thread from SandlotGuru.
This also means that these "special edition" players cannot be repulled from regular draft picks.
Is there any way to tell by looking at my inactiv…
"The 4-star players in the boxes are unique, low level bonus players, which cannot be re-pulled from draft picks"
That blows my idea out of the water. I think I'll go with your exact plan (3.5* pitchers). Seems solid.
Maybe one day I'll have enough…
Since I won't be acquiring a huge number of draft picks, I wonder if I might be better off, instead of holding onto 3.5-star players, holding onto 4-star hitters, because they can show up as the booby prize in boxes and be used as bonus players…
Yeah, you can see on the "batting order" screen, it shows (in my case) my ML as a Yankee with 60/60 pennants. My keepers are Ruth and Posada, so that's convenient.
If not for that, I would be the Pirates.
