IMO thats accurate based on what i experienced with my alt (posted above). You can see i had him s10, then u can see my cash drops the 320K and my pxp increases by 5130 (his trade in value).

Yea it worked on my alt with a pxp player (screenshots below) but it was weird it took leaving the screen and coming back to show up. Maybe it was the same for @Millecors if he only looked immediately after buying.
