Trade in players who aren't on active roster

I have entire full clubhouse full of non active 4 star and above players. Is it worth anything to hold on to those players or is it better to trade them all in? Also how do you increase the player level above what he's capped at after leveling him to level 10?

Trade the buns in.  As for leveling your team needs to play the playoffs and go silver then you have another 10 levels to upgrade players.
