Upgrade players or team?

I made the mistake of buying a couple field passes. Can’t win a single game lol. Better to focus on upgrading players or should I upgrade my team stats? Any advice is appreciated as my field passes will be useless without being able to win.

    I personally upgrade my players. When I went silver, I maxed out my players and I was doing fairly well winning about 75% of my games. When I started to lose, I used up nearly all my cash upgrading the team upgrades and maxing out the hitting, the pitching and several of the intangibles. It didn’t seem to matter as I continued to lose more frequently despite “upgrading” my team. My winning percentage dropped to about 67% before I moved to gold. So now I don’t prioritize it as much.

    Players will have a bigger impact, but unless you move up to diamond, you'll always hit that wall with bgs/tourneys.
    If you're not having fun, you're losing.

    More so referring to past seasons, I’m just now getting ready to transition out of bronze, taking my sweet time, making sure I’ve got things fully upgraded as I go lol
