Don’t forget the braves. Also, Cleveland named their team the Indians based on the fact that they had the first Native American in MLB play for them. Since it’s obviously “racist” to have a team named in his honor maybe we can still honor him by having a Francis Sockalexis day like we have a Jackie Robinson day since he was the first real person of color to play in the MLB
Sadly I believe majority of the population feel as we do and believe that things like this are not offensive even those that are supposedly “offended” aren’t. Unfortunately we cater to the 1% in this country. After all it’s just a team name so who cares.. wrong… it’s bigger than that because where does it stop?
That's funny you say that, because I was just in Kansas City this past weekend and saw they were removing the huge arrowhead sign from the stadium. They had parts of it loaded onto semi trailers and hauling it away.
