The rewards and stuff for Walk Off Hero are made multiple weeks in advance while bonus players are thought of later to match certain trends and in-game beats, so if you wanted some perspective on how that process is done, there it is.

We'll definitely be adding more, but a sponsorship also sort of slows as down as far as updates. The time that the dev team would normally take making the game better would go into random promotional events at whatnot. We're working on it.
There was a Goldberg Special Event around a month ago. That was the only way to get him, so unless they do a future deal soon he probably won't be obtainable for a while unless he's shuffled into a new box.
