Episode 4 - Scientific Equipment Overload

Hi there, I'm currently lounging around in Episode 4 and a quirky thing keeps happening to me. Everything I loot, I mean absolutely everything, drops me a 'Scientific Equipment'. I've got about 30 right now. Can't sell them, can't drop them, because supposedly they are necessary for a quest.

Any thoughts? Any help? They seriously clutter my inventory and prevent me from completing any other quests. I've already tried restarting the chapter but it keeps happening and they don't get reset.

try go to other episodes to sell or trash all of them then restart ep4
