i was in the middle of getting the 2 skulls for the violet "on-time fetching supplies"" mission (it's IMO the easiest)
i scavenged three things and the supplies spawned but when i tried picking them up (i think i picked them up too fast) the game crashed saying "zombies has stopped working". i come back, the supplies vanished, and i could not complete the quest. how frustrating.
