I wish I could get into star. But I got kicked out of the number 2 group for absolutely no reason. I've earned almost 2,000 gems on my own and a good team would really help.

I would hazard a guess that you were kicked out for having a low skull count. When you're in the #2 ranked team, having only 2,000 skulls is grossly insufficient.

On my #1 ranked team, the player with the lowest skulls has 9,000 skulls, and that's not even close to the team average of 18,000 skulls. As a team, we have over 180,000 skulls as of this post, so do the math.
