event episodes

Ok I've played this games a few times it has been updated so I've started over again. I had to delete before cause it would stop giving tasks. But anyway usually when I get to level three when the security zombie is on the roof it pops open a window to play the event episode. This time around it hasn't and I was wondering if there's a way to get to the event episodes. Before when I played them after the event ended I never got another thing on the side of my screen to join another event. I play on my galaxy s5. . Thanks
