Weapon animation glitch

Has anyone else noticed that, with the new update, all of the Melee weapons attack animation has been changes to a stabbing motion? I have a chainsaw and it used to look like I was sawing the zombies, now it looks like I'm just stabbing them with a chainsaw.. Kind of funny looking. Is it a glitch on my end or did they change the animations on purpose in the update?
