Lost game save. Help!

My game crashed recently and I reinstalled it. Now it asks if I want to load my old character data but won't load it even if I tap the yes button.

How do I get my save game back? I'm doing really well on the halloween event and don't want to lose everything...

I'm playing on a Kindle Fire.

    hermun81, I had already posted this issue. As far as I know, Glu does not offer any method of backing up your game data. When I looked around their FAQs, many answers ensured removing/uninstalling the game would clear you game data and you would have to start all over again.

    I tried to take that risk hoping the Google backup would save me, sadly, I lost everything and am starting all over again from lvl 21. I'm now at lvl 14 and slowly working my way back up.
