Crashing After Loading Screen

I downloaded this app a couple weeks ago on my iPad mini, it worked great for a while but then started crashing. It won't even let me into the game. I get to the loading screen with the skull and it crashes to my home screen every time. I've tried turning off all my background apps and powering off the device, but that hasn't helped either! Is anyone else dealing with this?

Playing on Kindle Fire HD
Went to the building while watching TV, and put the Kindle on sleep mode when the show came back on, and next commercial break (roughly 11 minutes later), the game would crash after the load screen, and has been doing this for the past 16 hours.
1) When I load the game, it sits at a black screen for several minutes. Sometimes it crashes and sometimes it sits there until an ad pops up. If the add pops up, then I can cancel the ad and play the game
2) IF I get to play the game, then the game crashes each and every time I go left from 3 Rando street to 2 Rando street. I can go right to the higher number Rando streets no problem, but when I go back and try to go from 3 to 2 Rando street the game crashes.
So.... fix this please?

I was on the escort Teeter mission too and game just kept crashing. Quit the episode and did another, after completing that I now can't get in to the game at all. Seems to be crashing when calling the ad on game start.
Running Samsung S2 on Jellybean.
1) force close all apps and then do a hard reboot of device. Wait about an hour. Relaunch game. As soon as game launches, try and tap an icon or something before it crashes (this took about 20 tries on my part.)
2) never quit the game unless you are in an episode. For some reason, the start menu is the biggest crasher for me.
3) if you crash during an event or episode and cannot leave a room or get something done, you should quit the episode. I have no idea why but the data must get corrupted or something on the server side and you need to restart the episode.
The game seems more crashy in the evening hours so trying this in the morning often works best. Goodluck.
