Infinite uses

I purchased a syringe and bullets from a safe house. Both had a infinity sign in the upper left corner and could be purchased for gold skulls. After I purchased and I used them I noticed I only got 1 use out of the syringe and 10 shots out of the bullets. Anyone seen or run into this before?

Pretty bummed that I spent gold skulls on bullets that only cost $100 and didnt get any additional uses as expected.
